It was 50 years ago today. I sent in my application to adopt.
OK, it just seems like 50 years sometimes. It was really a year ago today that I sent in my initial adoption application. It's both gone by in a flash and dragged on interminably. It’s been a roller-coaster 12 months, all right. ’Nuff said.

I totally hear you. I'm coming up on my year anniversary too.
And next year at this time, when you're preparing for your first Christmas with her/him/them, you'll be looking back and saying, Gee, just a year ago I didn't even have her/him/them yet. Joanne
I'm with you in the feeling of a flash - and dragging on forever - but soon and very soon - you are going to have that baby. Soon - and very soon - you are going to have a Gotcha Day !
I feel your pain! It does feel like a million years and yet - poof...here we are! Happy 1 year. I hope the next one is better!
