Yep, holes in one knee, thanks to Emmerson's crab-style crawl. Now that she's outdoors so much, she can wear a hole in the knee of a pair of pants in just one day.
But now that she's serious about learning to walk, maybe we won't be going through so many pants anymore!
Emmerson has been working on her walking for quite a while now, and she could walk but for two things: 1) Lack of confidence, and 2) Mainly she tries to run and not walk! If she'd slow down, she could nail it. This is what's really holding her back -- she's like a horse out of the gate. In the last week, she has finally started walking without being lured in to it by the TV remote (so special to have) or some other highly desirable object waved in front of her. Now she just does it because she knows she can.
As her mom, I find this series of three videos just so funny and cute.

Oh, my gosh, Emmerson is really walking!!
Goodness - Emme is walking running falling. Is she ready to cry in the first one when she bumps into the couch ? And is her Mom laughing ?
That is so cute..and funny. Aiden is very similar in his walking ways!
aww.. they only do that funny walk for a such a short while. enjoy it!
She is so excited and happy when she is up and "running". ADORABLE!
